This incident caused the temporary closure of the CTA tunnel and the T3 car park.

An additional two individuals have been arrested in connection with a robbery at Heathrow Airport where over twenty individuals were injured by what is thought to be pepper spray, according to police.

A 24-year-old man, was arrested in Lambeth for suspected theft and assault and a woman, 23 was detained on suspicion of conspiring to commit a robbery. They both remain in custody, the force said.

The arrests follow a probe into an attack at the multi-storey car park at Heathrow's Terminal 3 on Sunday. Prior to the incident, a pair of female travelers were robbed of their suitcases upon exiting a car park lift.

A toddler aged three was among the those hurt during the incident. Five people went to hospital for medical care and have since been discharged.

Police arrested a man in his thirties for suspected robbery and assault close to the scene. He was subsequently released pending further inquiries as the investigation proceeds.

Authorities were called at about 08:10 GMT after reports came in regarding several individuals hurt by a noxious substance believed to be an irritant spray.

The attack - which authorities stated was a standalone incident and not considered an act of terror - resulted in train delays and the temporary shutdown of the main airport tunnel and the Terminal 3 parking facility briefly.
