The British boxer will face the American YouTuber in an eight-round fight which will be streamed in real-time on the streaming platform.
British boxer Anthony Joshua declared he will "stamp all over" Jake Paul and "defeat" his opponent as the pair confronted each other to promote the upcoming heavyweight fight.
Former two time world heavyweight champion Joshua battles YouTuber-turned-boxer Paul - in what is, theoretically, a huge disparity - at Miami's Kaseya Center on December 19th.
Boxer's Mentality
"I'm going to damage his features and hurt his body. My goal is to show I'm superior," Joshua, 35 years old, declared.
"I plan to overwhelm him. That's a fighter's mentality.
"I will genuinely try to injure him. That's my goal."
Civil Interaction
Despite these statements, a composed Anthony Joshua and social media star Paul - normally known for his theatrics - were respectful and maintained decorum with each other.
Paul instead attacked ex Joshua rival Francis Ngannou and labeled him "a joke" after the Cameroonian declined a match opportunity.
Targeting Fury
Joshua, in the meantime, took aim at British rival Tyson Fury - and refused a million-pound wager 'The Gypsy King' says he will place on a victory for Paul.
"[Paul] is better than Fury - he's actually sitting here," the boxer stated.
"I acknowledge that."
Legitimate Opponent
In spite of stating he plans to punish Paul, Anthony Joshua refused to talk badly about his rival's fighting skills.
"Jake Paul is a serious fighter," he stated.
Jake Paul's Background
Paul - who initially became famous on the Disney Channel - has primarily boxed mixed martial artists or faded names since entering professional boxing.
He was defeated by British fighter Fury in last year.
Commercial Success
Still, the inexperienced fighter continues to be one of boxing's biggest commercial attractions, regularly earning massive earnings.
Prediction and Confidence
The 28 year old forecast a KO victory in the fourth or fifth round and asserted he would derail the highly-expected Fury-Joshua bout, which is allegedly in the works for 2026.
"The next fight will be myself against Tyson Fury next year," Jake Paul declared.
Physical Disparity
As both boxers participated in the usual face-off, with their size difference clearly visible, it highlighted just how surprising this complete situation is - and how astonishing it is that the fight is actually happening.
